Marty Deters
Marty's real estate career began in 1981 as a design drafter for consulting engineering firms developing residential master plan communities and highways in Denver, CO. After an enlistment in the US Army as a helicopter mechanic/crew chief, he moved into industrial, aviation and aerospace engineering fields while completing his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology at Southern Illinois University. Over the last twenty years he has been involved in the design and development of custom homes, mixed-use commercial retail centers and multifamily apartments in the Western United States. As a fan of continuing education; he has refreshed his architectural design, residential / commercial real estate and construction management skill sets at University of Denver's Executive Master of Science in Real Estate and the Built Environment program. Studies included the business of real estate development, cost estimating, finance, construction building systems, design-build, project and jobsite management. Relationship building continues to realize competitive advantages and present value-add opportunities to work with great partners and clients. Marty is leading Integrity Development Partners (IDP) to new heights, IPD is forecast to become one of the nation’s top 30 leaders in multifamily real estate development.
